Position summary :

The Marketing and Events Coordinator will support IFCC’s marketing and event activities. This individual will assist the company in executing marketing programs and events, with daily marketing responsibilities that include supporting the Marketing Specialist in developing, posting, and monitoring social media materials, executing email marketing campaigns, and aiding in the management of related sales data.

In addition, this role will contribute to the planning and execution of IFCC and OneCALL’s trade events, covering all aspects of registration, travel, booth design and production, as well as managing marketing and promotional materials.

The successful candidate must be exceptionally customer service-oriented, creative, professional, and organized.

Essential functions :

  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Support social media content creation, posting, and reporting as requested.
  • Assist in email automation campaigns and reporting, ensuring effective execution.
  • Support IFCC and OneCALL’s websites as needed.
  • Work closely with the Technology team to ensure data quality and integrity related to sales, marketing, and events.
  • Track and report on marketing campaigns, providing support as requested.
  • Collaborate with external marketing support, when necessary, to achieve goals.
  • Travel (approximately 10-15%) to attend aviation industry seminars, conferences, trade shows, and other client-attended events as approved by the department manager.

All travel will be planned months in advance.

  • Participate in IFCC’s strategic planning process as directed.
  • Manage IFCC’s trade event calendar, ensuring seamless preparation and execution of all events, including travel arrangements for attendees, registration, booth selection and design, sponsorship evaluations, event staffing, giveaways, and prizes.
  • Gather attendee feedback and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of each event.
  • Prepare post-event reports detailing successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Education and experience :

  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field of study.
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, or a related role.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and website management.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Canva and Teams is a must.
  • Experience with CRM software and other marketing software desired.
  • Experience with social media posting (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) and Google AdWords

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to assemble trade show booths up to 10’ x 20’ in dimension at times.
