WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...

• Role model all standards / processes and on-the-job behavior by living our core principle of integrity, fairness, & creating a positive, inclusive work environment.
• Responsible for supporting production leadership to provide management and oversight of hourly production employees in a distribution center facility.
• Provide coverage for shift supervisors during vacation and other absences.
• Ensure the safe and efficient execution of work by teams.
• Role model safe work practices ensure proper job and safety rules are understood and followed by all employees, and lead safety and other team meetings.
• Participate in incident investigations and follow-up activities.
• Work with shift supervisors to assign work, evaluate job performance and set performance expectations for team members.
• Support, coach, and provide timely feedback and direction to associates.
• Participate in and / or lead unit initiatives and other assignments as required.
• Understand the distribution center process flow and provide solutions to issues.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM...

• You must be an experienced team leader
• Experience performing one or more of the following forklift operator positions (Inbounder / Put away, Order Picker / Selector, Loader, etc.)
• Experience operating 'Narrow-Aisle / Reach-Truck' and / or 'Stand-Up Counterbalance' forklift(s)
• Experience working in a cold-storage / refrigerated warehouse / distribution center preferred
• Forklift Operator Certification preferred
• Basic math and reading skills
• Basic knowledge of forklift materials, methods and tools
• Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to heavy equipment operations

THE ENVIRONMENT YOU CAN EXPECT...

• Repetitive hand motions, reaching, and lifting up to 80 lbs.
• Stand and walk on concrete majority of shift
• Frequently stoop, kneel, twist, bend and lift various weights as needed
• Very cold work environment with temperatures typically ranging from -10 to +32 degrees F.
• Exposure to noise levels greater than 85 decibels
• Exposure to strong odors, including ammonia
• Exposure to slippery and wet conditions
