We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled RL6 Incident Reporting System SME to join our team and support our healthcare project.
As a Subject Matter Expert, you will play a pivotal role in implementing, configuring, and optimizing the RL6 system, ensuring it is tailored to meet our organization'
s incident reporting, risk management, and patient safety needs. Your expertise will guide the successful deployment, training, and maintenance of the RL6 Incident Reporting System across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the implementation and configuration of the RL6 Incident Reporting System, including setting up workflows, custom forms, alerts, and system integrations.
- Work closely with healthcare teams to understand their requirements and translate them into system functionalities that align with best practices in incident reporting and patient safety.
- Optimize system performance by identifying and resolving issues related to data flow, user access, and reporting capabilities.
- Provide day-to-day support for RL6 users, troubleshooting any technical issues and ensuring smooth functionality of the platform.
- Develop and deliver training materials and conduct sessions for end-users and administrators to ensure efficient use of the system.
- Collaborate with IT and Risk management teams to design and generate custom reports for leadership, addressing critical incident data and trends.
- Stay up to date with the latest RL6 updates and features, advising the organization on opportunities to improve system efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Ensure the system complies with healthcare regulations, data privacy standards (HIPAA), and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience working with RL6 Incident Reporting System in a healthcare or risk management setting.
- In-depth knowledge of RL6 configuration, workflows, form design, and reporting capabilities.
- Proven track record of successful RL6 implementations, upgrades, or customizations.
- Strong understanding of healthcare incident reporting, risk management, patient safety, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and end-users.
- Experience with system integration and database management is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience working in a healthcare organization or consulting firm specializing in healthcare IT.
- Familiarity with risk management standards and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, Joint Commission).
- Knowledge of other healthcare IT systems and interoperability best practices.
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Risk Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
