Facility Coordinator

Position : Facility and Logistics Coordinator

The Facility and Logistics Coordinator reports directly to the Vice President and is part of the leadership team. The coordinator develops and implements all process changes agreed upon by

the senior leadership team and keeps the senior leadership team informed of all major shifts in shipping, receiving, and delivery that impact the success of the company along with any facility

issues. The coordinator's talent and skills are critical to the mission of delivering high quality products that delight our customers.

The Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator is a team-player

Duties and Responsibilities :

Facility Management :

• Oversee all facility operations, ensuring the maintenance of the general facility, warehouse, and refrigerator.
• Report facility and equipment issues to the appropriate personnel and help resolve them promptly.
• Maintain a written maintenance schedule for equipment and facility needs; log and save all maintenance records.
• Research, order, and install parts for company equipment; ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to resolve facility issues, obtaining quotes and presenting options to the senior leadership team.

Logistics, Shipping, and Receiving :

• Coordinate the movement of products and inventory in a timely, safe, and cost-effective manner
• Follow established safety and quality standards.
• Perform loading and unloading of trucks, performing material transactions, and monitoring incoming and outgoing inventory to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure ingredients and products are delivered from offsite locations, coordinating with internal team members and shippers.
• Communicate with customers on proper stocking procedures to limit damage to products.
• Organizing incoming ingredients using FIFO
• Maintain company vehicles (e.g., delivery trucks, forklifts) to ensure safe operation.
• Pick up supplies and ingredients and drop off finished product as needed to support production schedules

Leadership and Collaboration :

• Actively engage with senior leadership to update the company's vision, mission, and goals using a continuous improvement model.
• Act as an ambassador for company policy, initiatives, and culture, ensuring positive communication across departments.
• Contribute to pricing strategy and budget building by gaining a deeper understanding of company financials.
• Serve as a role model for professional behavior and conflict resolution, fostering a positive and supportive environment for all team members.
• Support the daily and weekly goals of the Senior Production and Packaging Manager
