This positionis responsible for supporting the Supply Chain Finance activitiesat the bakery. A close working relationship with the bakerymanagement team and in particular, the Bakery Controller, must bemaintained in order to provide financial analysis and businessinsight on a dailybasis.

Responsibilities :

  • Supportthe Bakery Controller in a multitude of areas including but notlimited to : 1) process order reporting; 2) inventory management;
  • 3)process / continuous improvement; 4) cost control and containment(including involvement in variance analysis); 5) projecttracking / management;

6) ad-hoc analysis to support the BakeryController’s role.

  • Promote a strong internalcontrol environment within the bakery. Identifies possibleweaknesses and develop (in conjunction with Bakery Controller)systems / processes to close any gaps in conjunction with thefinancial policies of the company and US GAAP and improve Bakeryoperations and profitability.
  • Assist withmonth end, reporting, forecasting, budgeting and internal andexternal audits.
  • Monitor capital projectprogress and ensure that closing notices are prepared and processedin a timely manner.
  • Complete special projectsasassigned.

Qualifications :

Upto 5 years of related finance experience in a Manufacturingenvironment and / or education (Bachelor’s degree with emphasis inAccounting or Finance);

or equivalent combination of education andexperience.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills,knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Outlook email
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Knowledge of standard costing methods andconcepts
  • Ability to define problems, collectdata, establish facts, analyse performance trends and draw validconclusions.
  • Maintain a focus on proactive andconsistent process improvement.
  • Ability towork in a fast-paced culture; must be able to re-prioritize taskson short notice and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
  • Be a self-starter that is dependable, takes initiativeand requires minimal supervision.
  • Good peopleand communication skills, team orientation with ability to workwell across all levels of theBakery
