Position Overview
The Marketing Manager, K2 Snowboarding will oversee the execution of our brand vision for K2 Snowboarding. They’ll work alongside the Marketing Director in creating and developing the GTM strategy while managing the project timeline and creative development of team goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist in development and lead execution of K2 Snowboarding’s global go-to-market strategies seasonally for all product categories.
- Create advertising plan and strategy, including creative and schedule for all advertising programs.
- Develop and manage web / online strategy, including site launches, maintenance, ongoing online campaigns, etc.
- Strategize and coordinate annual marketing / promo calendar (including media buy, product launch, online and all related campaigns)
- Assist in the development all marketing collateral programs, including in-store and advertising materials to market.
- Spearhead all events, promotional planning, and communication.
- Order and manage all products necessary for events, trade shows, promotions, public relations.
- Support global sales group with development and production of sales collateral materials, including but not limited to : catalog, sell in / out tools, POP, etc.
- Identify and fulfill all retail marketing and promotional requests.
- Create regional events and promotions (retail or otherwise).
- Manage public relations efforts, including but not limited to : press releases, product tests, product reviews, editor relations, product pitches.
- Development of all brand creative and promotional needs.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the snowboard industry, market and lifestyle.
- Ability to snowboard competently in all conditions.
- Ability to travel extensively sometimes internationally to any country that has snow.
- Work history in snowboard and / or related sports industries.
- Excellent work ethic and enthusiasm.
- Ability to organize multiple tasks and manage projects.
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, Excel, and Adobe products.
- Understanding of Ecommerce marketing and sales strategies.
- Photography skills.
- Video / editing knowledge and experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work with and co-ordinate a diverse group of people (team riders, sales reps, accountants, shop staff, general snowboard customers).
- Self-directed and motivated.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit in front of computer for long periods of time
- May be required to lift 15-50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to snowboard competently in all conditions
This is a SALARY position with Elevate Outdoor Collective. The pay range for this role is $70,000 - 80,000 annually.
