Actalent is looking for a full-time Systems Integration & Test Engineer to support our client, a leading DoD organization, onsite in Syracuse, NY.
Responsibilities :
- Will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems
- Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include : concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
- Able to integrate software and hardware, validate and verify software changes, and perform system updates
- Will be hands-on with lab systems and tactical radar systems
Qualifications :
- Understands integration planning for large systems
- 3-8 years of Hands-on Systems Integration and Test experience on modern digital radars (or experience integrating some sort of sensor)
- Testing with Electrical / RF / SW experience.
- Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance
