From operational leadership and crew planning to safety and service procedures, our Inflight Services team provides the innovative approaches, tools, training and guidance needed for our flight attendants to deliver the best possible customer experience, and aid in our mission to become the best airline in the history of aviation.

Job overview and responsibilities

Design, develops, creates and ensures the delivery of custom learning programs including interactive eLearning modules and instructor led training classes for employees within crew scheduling

Evaluating employee performance through data analysis and direct observation to identify strengths and areas for improvement

This includes designing and implementing targeted development plans to enhance skills, ensure alignment with organizational goals, and support continuous professional growth

Creating key performance indicators to measure training success and developing strategic plans to address future training needs.

Ensures the organization is prepared for evolving demands and maintains consistent skill development across all teams

On-the-job training management involves ensuring that training milestones are achieved by overseeing the training schedule, coordinating with trainers and supervisors, and managing OJT assessments

Facilitate performance conversations to track progress, provide feedback, and support trainee development throughout the training program

Coordination with stakeholders for underperforming employees involves collaborating with managers, HR, and training teams to address performance issues

Develop targeted action plans, providing additional support, and ensuring alignment on strategies to help employees meet performance expectations

Provide Operational support as needed

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in Business / Administration, Education, Communications or Human Resource
  • Occasional meetings outside of normal business hours
  • Occasional operational support
  • 1-2 years of scheduling operations
  • 1-2 years of crew scheduling experience or aviation management
  • 1+ years of project management experience
  • Analytical skills
  • Written and verbal communication
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Knowledge of crew scheduling
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

  • Master's degree
  • 2+ years of experience with training and development
  • 2+ years in a people leader role
  • Training design
  • Familiarity with relevant labor regulations and compliance
