Champion Controls, Inc., an established control systems supplier and integrator, is seeking a Wire Technician for our industrial control panel shop.
Technicians must be able to read and understand wire diagrams / schematics, run electrical wires neatly and efficiently through wire way and terminate to each component.
Knowledge of PLC's, VFD's, and HMI's is a major plus.
Must have a minimum of two years of experience wiring control panels. This is a full time position 7am-3 : 30pm for our manufacturing shop located in Ft.
Lauderdale. Although initiative is commended, please do not call. Send resumes via email.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must read and interpret electrical equipment drawings
- Must have the ability to use a variety of hand tools, machine tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Industrial Electrical / Electronic experience a must.
- The candidate must be reliable, punctual, and have a good driving and clean criminal record
- Must have a minimum of 2 years wiring experience
- Outstanding diagnostic / problem solving skills
- Must have a current / valid state driver's license
- U.S. Citizen or the ability to work in the US
