Field Service Technician (East Coast Region & Electro Mechanical Heavy on Controls)

What You’ll Be Doing :
- Lead Installations : You’ll ensure the proper installation of our advanced drying equipment (Drum Dryers, Belt Dryers, and Fluid Bed Dryers), verifying everything runs smoothly and optimally.
- Optimize Performance : Fine-tune and optimize the equipment before performance testing, ensuring it exceeds customer expectations.
- Hands-On Problem Solver : Whether it’s mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic issues, you'll troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly, keeping operations running efficiently.
- Deliver Excellence : You’ll demonstrate our equipment’s capabilities based on customer specifications and performance testing while writing detailed reports that capture on-site events.
- Customer Champion : Build strong, professional relationships with customers, providing training and technical assistance to ensure their success.
- Travel and Adventure : Get ready for extensive travel (90%-100%), visiting diverse job sites across the Southeast, meeting new people, and solving different challenges every day.
What You Bring to the Table :
- Mechanical Mastery : Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and read engineering blueprints with ease.
- Process Knowledge : Familiarity with our drying equipment is a plus, but your ability to quickly learn and adapt is key.
- Tech-Savvy : Proficiency in Microsoft programs (Windows, Word, Excel), along with basic PLC programming experience (AB, Siemens S7, Modicon, etc.) gives you an edge.
- Sharp Troubleshooting Skills : You can think on your feet, especially in maintenance environments, and know how to define failure points and create corrective action plans under pressure.
- Electromechanical Expertise : An electromechanical technology degree or trade school certification is a plus, along with handheld vibration analysis experience.
What It Takes :
- Physical Readiness : This role requires physical strength and endurance you’ll need to lift up to 75 pounds, stand or walk for long periods, and climb ladders and platforms with ease.
- Attention to Detail : Precision matters! You’ll conduct visual inspections and solve problems with a sharp eye and steady hand.
- Compliance & Safety : Stay up to date on OSHA requirements and wear the appropriate PPE for every job site you visit. Safety is always the top priority.
