JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR

The Junior Accountant will provide general accounting support. Ideal candidate will create reports, perform data-entry of statements, prepare filings and reconcile transactions.

KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Record day-to-day financial transactions in ERP (Restaurant 365) System.
• Prepare Daily and Weekly Bank reconciliations.
• Deposit checks and perform data-entry into R365.
• Assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly sales and tax filing.
• Assist with month-end close, including booking accruals, recording revenue, preparing schedules, and tax work.
• Manage the Liability Schedule, Deferred Rent & Deferred Income.
• Perform routine activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and other month-end close activities.
• Assist with various AR / AP functions when needed.
• Prepare Weekly and Monthly Credit Card Spending Report
• Prepare Daily fund report and reconcile market-place transactions.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

• Degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in accounting.
• Prior experience in the Food or Beverage industry preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required. Capable of managing large-volume data.
