Contract Position
Responsibilities :
- Ensure the measurement & test equipment used to build space vehicles and rocket engines are calibrated and cycled on schedule.
- Perform calibration of measurement & test equipment in a metrology lab environment.
- Maintain accuracy of calibrated item inventory & calibration status.
- Utilize 3rd party calibration vendors and oversee the logistics of calibration services.
- Assist manufacturing team with device recall & notification.
Qualifications :
- 3+ years’ experience in Calibration
- HS Diploma + calibration related technical training
- Familiarity with the operation of measurement and test equipment.
- Comfortable utilizing a computer to maintain, organize & track technical information
- Must be a . citizen or permanent resident (current Green Card holder)
- Calibration of Measurement and Test Equipment : Phys-D
- DESIRED : Calibration of AMS2750 compliant ovens and furnaces Calibration of Accelerometers Calibration of data acquisition and equipmentMilitary PMEL or Post-Secondary metrology trainingExperience with industry calibration standards (ANSI NCSL Z540.
3, ISO / IEC 17025)Experience with industry quality and configuration control system methodologies (AS9100, ISO : 9001)Experience developing, operating and maintaining calibration systems & proceduresExperience in customer service
