Canadian Executive Search Group (CES), a division of Arrow Workforce Solutions (AWS) , is now hiring Warhouse Maintenance Technician for our client in Arlington, Texas.

These are full time, temp to perm positions for Members.

Location : Arlington, Texas

Start Date : Hiring Immediately

Wages : From to $28+ hourly depending on position and experience for probationary period

Hours : 1pm-9 : 30pm + This role will require flexibility due to us being an operation and a shift pattern will be put in place that will require working nights and weekends including overtime.

Description :

The role of a Plant Maintenance, Electrician, Technician, and Trainee is to participate in the Total and

Preventive Maintenance (TPM) for all equipment and facilities

The main missions of the roles are to :

Install, repair and maintain all equipments and facilities

Perform minor repairs to building fixtures, perform minor plumbing repairs, clean electrical fixtures,

replace bulbs and do painting

Analyse mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and make necessary

corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality

Try out equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime

Record operational data, such as pressure readings, length of stroke, feeds and speeds for use in set-up

and preventive maintenance records

Propose and implement continuous productivity and quality improvement actions for all facilities and

process efficiency

Give advice on technical specifications of a new equipment and alterations on existing equipment

and facilities, making sure manufacturing, Health, Safety and Environment and maintainability

requirements are met

Participate in the management of the inventory of spare parts and consumables to eliminate downtime

Keep up to date documentation related to maintenance

Train operators on the safe operation of production equipment

Maintain clean and safe working environment in line with company policy

Adhere to all work rules and procedures

Additional reponsibilities include :

Job Knowledge / Skills / Qualifications :

Technical dipolima and / or journey man card

Perform taks of substantial variety / complexity which require an extensive knowledge of

fabrication / processing techniques, tools, materials, machines and equipment

Electrical wiring and mechanical skills

Working knowledge of Quality systems and Health, Safety and Environmental skills

Strong technical problem solving skills

Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

Satisfactory company work record, including attendance

Successful completion of Faurecia’s in-house training program

Ability to follow instruction verbal and written good math, language and reading skills required

Good communication skills demonstrated by the ability to communicate with employees of all levels

Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and in a positive manner

Level 1 can perform maintenance, electrician, and electronics technician duties

Level 2 can perform maintenance and electrician duties only or electrician and electronics technician

duties only

Level 3 can perform maintenance duties only or electricain duties only

Level 4 Trainee must pass standardized test and do on job training in order of maintenance skillset,

electrician skillset, technician skillset, and complete 4 year apprentice period.

Physical Requirements :

Job involves lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, exerts 25 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and

exerts 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects

Requires pushing, pulling, reaching, standing, walking, gripping and bending

High mental and visual effort required

Work involves considerable bending and twisting

Able and willing to work overtime when required up to 12 hours a day / 7 days a week

Safety / Hazards :

Steel toed shoes required in production area at all times due to physical hazards from moving

equipment, machine parts and product

ANSI Z87.1 standard safety glasses required in production area due to dust, oils and debris

Kevlar sleeves required in production area due to potential lacerations

May be Exposed to flying objects such as weld slag and sparks

May be exposed to weld fumes and dust

Exposed to moderate burns, cuts and bruises

Exposed to significant temperature changes in the facility (heat in the summer / cold in the winter)
