This position will also have a global role in supporting overall commodity forecast, supply, and demand management in collaboration with MPs across different MRO sites.

Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-August (including the Spring semester;

it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

What You Will Do :

Material Forecasting & Planning : Develop and manage material forecasts and production schedules to ensure timely availability of materials for production.

Utilize data analysis and historical trends to make informed decisions and adjustments.

Inventory Management : Monitor and control inventory levels to optimize stock and minimize excess or obsolete materials.

Implement and maintain inventory management systems and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Supplier Coordination : Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. Address any issues related to supply chain disruptions, quality concerns, or lead time changes.

Production Support : Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to understand production requirements and adjust material plans accordingly.

Provide support to resolve any material-related issues that may arise during production.

Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in materials planning and inventory management.

Contribute to the development of strategies to enhance overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Data Analysis & Reporting : Analyze material usage data and generate reports to track performance metrics, inventory levels, and forecast accuracy.

Use insights to drive decision-making and process improvements.

Qualifications You Must Have :

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Qualifications We Prefer :

Inclination for Supply Chain, Scheduling, and / or Materials Planning processes.

Working experience with Microsoft Office programs, in particular excel and reporting tools, such as PowerBI / Tableau.
