Role Description

The EDI Analyst is responsible for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems and processing at Recom. You will develop, coordinate, implement, and communicate the organization's initiatives for EDI systems that exist in the context of NetSuite ERP system.

The EDI Analyst will act as a liaison between business users, the NetSuite technical team, and trading partners to deliver cost-effective, high-quality electronic exchange of information.

In this role you will report directly to the COO and will be based at the Company's office in Deerfield Beach, FL. This is an in-person, office-based role.

Key Responsibilities :

Coordinate with business application and database administration functions to ensure availability and reliability of EDI systems to meet business demands.

Perform system configuration, mapping, and management for EDI-based transactions and processes.

Develop, enhance, and maintain EDI maps for both inbound and outbound transactions.

Work closely with trading partners to plan, execute, and implement data exchanges to benefit both parties.

Troubleshoot and resolve EDI issues.

Develop and maintain project and system documentation per standard.

Perform typical business analyst duties such as requirements gathering, solution design, development, and testing to meet EDI business needs.

Monitor new technologies, techniques, and tools in the EDI space to continue to enhance EDI systems.

Work with current EDI partner TrueCommerce.

Assist with the development of test plans and execution of those plans in conjunction with internal and external personnel.

Develop and conduct end-user training for EDI systems.

Drive the adoption of standard work processes, standard application functionality, and data standards, as well as alignment with global corporate policies and IT methodology.

Acquire and improve skills in EDI and NetSuite applications through education and professional organizations.

Promote teamwork and volunteer to serve on ad hoc task groups from time to time

Consult with IT staff on business and technical issues.

Provide guidance and mentorship for employees in the role of EDI Analyst.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor"s degree in Business, MIS, or related field, or equivalent on the job experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) systems
• Proficient in installing, configuring, and maintaining these systems.
• Proven expertise and understanding of EDI standard formats such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT, as well as familiarity with EDI translators like Gentran.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with EDI in a NetSuite environment
• Knowledge of SQL
• Familiarity with Oracle API / interfaces
• Experience with 3rd party EDI provides, such as TrueCommerce
