Position Overview : Seeking an individual authorized to work in New Jersey, who is either a licensed Architect and Builder or an Architect with an established construction partner, for a 14,000 sq.
ft. warehouse project. The candidate must handle both design and construction management duties.
Responsibilities :
- Architectural Duties :
- Develop and coordinate architectural plans for the warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with zoning requirements and functional needs.
- Prepare and submit permit applications, and liaise with NJ authorities.
- Construction Duties :
- Plan and manage all phases of construction.
- Supervise crews and subcontractors.
- Procure materials and ensure quality control.
- Conduct final inspections, address defects and prepare the facility for operation.
Requirements
- Authorized to work in New Jersey.
- Hold necessary licenses and permits for architectural and construction work in NJ.
- Strong knowledge of NJ building codes and regulations.
- Proven experience in design and construction management.
- Proficient in relevant software and tools.
- Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
- Licensed Architect and General Contractor in NJ preferred, or Architect with a reliable construction partner.
