The Larson Group Peterbilt , is looking for an experienced Body Shop Technician to join our dynamic team. This position performs all functions of a fully qualified heavy-duty truck body repair mechanic under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities :
- Performs mechanical / body repairs on heavy-duty truck equipment and related components, while maintaining a high level of quality.
- Work with and train new technicians as directed.
- Follow safety rules and company policies always.
- Communicate to Foreman parts that are not available for repairs.
- Disassemble truck and evaluate parts list / estimate to have all parts needed to complete repair.
- Record in detail, description of all trouble shooting and / or repair steps, results of repairs made and any other information about repair.
Accurately record in Paccar Solutions or CDK.
- Save all warrantable parts. Tag, wash, box and turn in to correct location. Labeling with repair order number, S / N, customer name and date.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area. Clean tools used and return them to their proper location.
- Maintain a low number of comebacks, customer vehicle functions properly after repair.
- Advise the following shift's technicians with any special instructions or concerns you found when repairing truck.
- Maintain efficiency and productivity goals set forth by Body Shop Manager.
- Maintain training required to perform duties, as set forth by manager.
- Perform other duties and repairs as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Should possess a High School diploma.
- A college degree or a certificate or degree from a trade school is preferred, but not required.
- Experience in a related field is preferred but not required.
- Basic computer skills.
