RVCC is looking to hire a Clinician to work for the ROCA program and our Outpatient Clinic!

Job Responsibilities :
- This clinician will work a split schedule - 16 hours in the ROCA program and 24 hours at our outpatient clinic
- Provide counseling at ROCA young men's program
- Provide education groups and group counseling at ROCA
- Provide therapy services at our outpatient clinic
- To competently conduct clinical evaluations of clients of all ages and their families
- To treat clients and their families, when family treatment will benefit the clients mental health status and to be knowledgeable about the developmental needs of the client and the development cycles of the family
- To document activities according to established RVCC and regulatory standards
- To make visits to agencies and facilities where appropriate to client care, including follow-up assessments
- To coordinate necessary outreach, advocacy, or case consultation appropriate to meet the needs of clients and their families
- To prepare for and participate and regular supervision
- To provide crisis care, as necessary, for the clients and families within caseload being handled.
Job Requirements :
Education Level - Master’s degree with a concentration in counseling, clinical psychology, or social work.
Years of Experience - 3 years experience as a therapist with a strong background in family work; including crisis intervention preferred.
- Skills / Abilities - Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills;
- crisis intervention skills; organizational skills; attention to detail; computer skills; good customer relations skills;
knowledge of legal and ethical issues pertaining to the profession
Licensing - LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, Lic Psychologist preferred but not required.
