Systems Administrator

Fusion HCR is hiring! This is a direct hire opportunity based in Henderson, NV.

Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator with a strong security focus to join our team. This role requires a versatile individual with experience in managing alerts, handling email security, and performing essential system administration tasks.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Active Directory in multi-forest environments, Proofpoint or other email filtering systems, Linux servers, and VMware.

This position involves addressing support tickets, managing permissions, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

• Alert Management : Monitor and manage security alerts and take necessary actions.
• Email Security : Release emails from quarantine and implement recommendations from Proofpoint or other email filtering systems.
• Active Directory : Manage multi-forest AD environments, handle terminations, and manage permissions.
• Linux Server Administration : Administer Linux servers used for hosting web applications.
• Virtualization : Manage and support virtual environments, with a strong preference for VMware experience.

Exchange Administration :

• Address escalation tickets related to Exchange (On-Prem and O365) from the Application Support Team.
• Manage and troubleshoot Distribution Lists, user mailboxes, and mail-flow issues.
• Execute Exchange litigation searches as needed.
• Support Tickets : Handle day-to-day support tickets and provide timely resolutions.
• Server and Workstation Maintenance : Maintain patching for servers and workstations.

Additional Responsibilities :

• Collaboration : Work with application support teams and security teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Project Management : Utilize ticket and project management systems to track and complete tasks.
• Physical Requirements : Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds on occasion.
• Other Duties : Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements :

• Proven experience in system administration with a security focus.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Windows, and application servers.
• Experience with Proofpoint or other email filtering systems.
• Experience managing Linux servers.
• Experience in multi-domain environments.
• VMware experience is a huge plus.
• Experience with IBM iSeries is a plus.
