About the Role :

As the VP of Product, you will lead the vision, strategy, and execution for Demandbase’s advertising solutions, including the innovative Ads platform and upcoming multi-channel products.

This high-impact role requires a seasoned leader who can elevate product excellence, foster cross-functional collaboration, and ensure our offerings remain ahead of industry trends.

You’ll manage and mentor a talented product team, work closely with customers to uncover their evolving needs, and champion Demandbase's advertising solutions both internally and externally.

The base compensation range for this position, not including the company bonus, is : $280,000-$320,000

What you'll be doing :

Strategic Vision and Roadmap Development :

  • Spearheading the formulation of a compelling vision for Demandbase's Advertising offerings.
  • Collaborating closely with Engineering, UX, and various stakeholders to define and bring to market groundbreaking products that set industry standards.

Cross-Functional Leadership :

  • Functioning as the cross-functional General Manager responsible for steering Demandbase's market-leading product portfolio for advertisers.
  • Leading and nurturing a team of exceptional product managers, fostering their growth and empowering them to deliver excellence.
  • Diving into the details to help and understand.

Process Optimization :

Upholding the highest quality standards across product management teams by implementing and refining exceptional processes.

Evangelism :

Championing Demandbase products externally through effective engagement with analysts and strategic partners, and internally to our field and engineering organizations.

Customer-Centric Discovery :

  • Investing significant time in customer engagement, conducting thorough discovery sessions to gain deep insights into their evolving needs.
  • Translating customer feedback into actionable strategies, ensuring our products remain aligned with and ahead of market demands.
  • Being an expert in competitive dynamics, and a clear vision for how we should navigate the market and position our offerings.

What we're looking for :

  • 10+ years of product management experience. Product marketing experience desirable.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to explain technical concepts to an executive audience, and translate business objectives to a technical audience.
  • Experience in leading products for B2B advertisers.
  • Proven track record of solving ambiguous and complex data problems at scale, strong quantitative modeling skills inclusive of machine learning.
  • Degree in a technical or business discipline preferred.

  • Product Processes - Relevant experience in mature product organizations with best-in-class processes - will help us up our game.
