Are you a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or caregiver looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children?
We are actively seeking CNAs and caregivers to provide safe and nurturing care to children in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services (MDCPS).
This is a PRN position offering flexibility and a competitive pay rate of $13-$15 per hour. Join our team and enjoy a rewarding role with a variety of day and night shifts.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a CNA or caregiver with About You In Home Care, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily activities and overall well-being of our young clients.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Daily Care : Assisting children with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility.
- Companionship : Providing comfort and companionship to foster a nurturing and supportive environment.
- Collaboration : Working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care tailored to each child's needs.
- Observation and Reporting : Monitoring the health and behavior of clients, and promptly reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Safety and Well-being : Ensuring a safe and clean environment for the children, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements and Skills
To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications :
- Education : High School diploma or GED.
- Certification : State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (if applicable).
- CPR Certification : Current certification is essential.
- Skills : Basic computer skills and the ability to think independently and efficiently.
- Communication : Excellent oral communication skills for effective interaction with healthcare professionals and clients.
- Composure : Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure, fast-paced situations.
Compensation and Benefits
We value the dedication and expertise of our team members, and we offer competitive compensation to reflect that. For those working a minimum of 35 hours per week and completing 90 days of employment, we provide health insurance benefits.
