job summary :
Performs basic production of transit door leaf and less complicated sub-components includingpreparation of parts, actual production per engineering drawings and specifications, and packaging ofthe product to required specifications.
Utilizes documentation such as production drawings, wiring schematics and work instructions bothwritten and verbal.May perform fabricating, crimping, drilling and some mechanical / wiring installations.
Self-inspects work throughout the production process.May be assigned to high-speed production group.Maintains neat and orderly work area to ensure efficiency and no safety hazards.
Meets all quality, quantity, and established manufacturing practices to satisfy customer requirements.Computer literate and basic software operations needed to perform job duties, calculations, andtesting.
Assist in shipping, receiving and inventory duties when specified and needed.Lifting - up to 30 lbs - bending, stooping, reaching on a continuous basis throughout the workday.

Keep equipment operational with preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshoot malfunctions;
