JOB SUMMARY : Set up kits for automated machinery and materials tracking.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITES :
- Performs set-up and close-out of kits for automated machinery following documented work instructions.
- Count and Identify components from customer supplied kits.
- Check-in materials for turnkey kits.
- Cycle count inventory.
- Enters transactions into computer, completes logs and records as required.
- Works under direction of supervisor, group leader or designee.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
High School Diploma desired. Minimum of three years’ experience working in the manufacturing of electronic circuit board assemblies or systems is preferred.
Minimum of three years’ experience using documented work instructions to perform tasks is preferred. Minimum of three years’ experience with electronic component handling is preferred.
SPECIAL TRAINING / SKILLS REQUIRED :
Able to follow work instructions. Able to use prints, drawings, travelers, and bill of materials to accomplish work assignments.
Able to identify electronic components and polarity markings. Able the gather materials and set-up jobs without supervision.
COMPUTER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
Novice level scanning bar codes, time clock entries, labor reporting, and material tracking.
