Our client seeking a User Researcher for a 6-month contract with the potential for extension. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in advising and influencing product strategy and design through comprehensive user research.
As a User Researcher, your mission will be to provide invaluable insights that shape product strategy and design. You'll engage in both generative and evaluative research methods, leading end-to-end research plans, from study design to data collection and final analysis.
Collaborating closely with teams in engineering, interaction design, industrial design, manufacturing, and business, you will be the driving force behind our user-centric approach.
This is a full-time, 6-month contract position with the potential for extension.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the Consumer Electronics division to design innovative products and experiences.
- Work with Research Leads and peers to determine appropriate testing methods and develop effective study plans.
- Partner with Product Design to create content and prototypes for testing, fostering close collaboration with industrial designers, engineers, and UX designers.
- Provide transparent updates on study progress and raise concerns when necessary.
- Conduct various studies and risk analyses to ensure the collection of high-quality, unbiased data.
- Analyze and synthesize data to deliver comprehensive reports with clear, compelling recommendations to cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with fellow researchers on team initiatives to enhance the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the User Research function.
Qualifications :
- Experience level : Experienced
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree (BS / BA) or higher in a related field, such as Human Factors Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Behavior Sciences, Psychology, or Product Design.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of technical proficiency.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and timelines.
- Effective problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
