Job Description and Duties

The Associate Governmental Program Analyst certification list is being used as an appropriate list to hire for the Field Examiner II classification.

To be eligible, you must meet the minimum qualifications for both classifications and be eligible on the Associate Governmental Program Analyst list.

The Staff Services Analyst certification list is being used as an appropriate list to hire for the Field Examiner I classification.

To be eligible, you must meet the minimum qualifications for both classifications and be eligible on the Staff Services Analyst list.

Under the general supervision of the Regional Director and direct supervision of the Field Examiner III, the incumbent is independently responsible for the complete process of handling cases of average difficulty in unfair labor practice investigations, representation matters, and compliance related activities.

Duties will be adjusted if hired at the Field Examiner I level.

Special Requirements

• The position(s) require(s) fluency in the Spanish language. If the State of California does not have a current record documenting your fluency in this language, you will be required to successfully pass an approved language fluency test prior to being hired.
