Job Description and Duties

The Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) is recruiting to fill an Office Technician (Typing) vacancy in the Basic Training Bureau.

This position is being advertised as limited-term for 12 months and may be extended up to 24 months, with the possibility of becoming permanent at a later date.

Working Conditions

This position is located at POST headquarters in West Sacramento, CA. The office is located in a two-story building with a business park setting.

Regular and consistent attendance is critical to the successful performance of this position.

Special Requirements

The position(s) require(s) the ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications (link available in the additional documentation section).

You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired.
