This position will work a 1st shift schedule and pay starts at $40.00 per hour. Full benefits are also available!
We're seeking a highly motivated individual with :
Extensive experience in prototype machining, including Turning, Grinding, and Milling.
Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and GD&T.
Minimum 5 years of general machining experience, with familiarity in Haas and Makino Controls.
Capability to write CNC programs as needed.
Preferably, a strong background in manual machining techniques and the ability to provide constructive feedback to design engineers.
Responsibilities :
Fabricate and modify novel firearm parts, fixtures, and jigs according to specifications.
Utilize engineering drawings and tool design to create accurate components.
Maintain tooling, fixturing, and CNC programs systematically.
Develop and fabricate tooling and fixtures to support machining and prototype development.
Create prototype tooling for Engineering lab assembly processes.
Perform advanced program changes independently.
Ensure organized, clean, and safe work areas following 5S practices.
Utilize Lathe, Mill, Surface Grind, OD Grind, and EDM techniques. Qualifications :
Ability to interpret technical prints with GD&T.
Proficient in CNC machine "G-Code" and troubleshooting.
Experience with tool maintenance and adjustment of offsets.
Working knowledge of measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and height stands.
Education / Experience :
Required : High School Diploma or GED, along with 5 years of CNC experience.
Preferred : Vocational / Technical Degree, manual machining experience, Lean manufacturing, Wire EDM, Die sinker EDM, and Mastercam proficiency.
