Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Interim Manager of Safety & Systems to lead the integration of digital technologies into their safety and systems practices.
This role will drive innovation and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of global safety programs.
The Interim Manager of Safety & Systems would demonstrate leadership in driving global digital transformation, adeptly navigating complex organizational structures to deliver impactful change.
They will possess strong skills in leveraging data for strategic decision-making, with expertise in data management principles and effective communication of complex concepts.
Interim Manager of Safety & Systems Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement digital strategies to transform safety and systems operations across the organization
- Lead the identification, evaluation and integration of digital tools and technologies to improve safety and systems outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations and HR, to ensure seamless integration of digital solutions
- Monitor and analyze safety and systems data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement
- Provide strategic direction and guidance on digital safety and systems initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the digital transformation of safety and systems practices
- Develop training programs and resources to support the adoption of new technologies and digital tools by safety and systems teams globally
- Oversee the implementation of digital safety and systems projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and systems regulations and standards through effective use of digital solutions
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the global safety and systems team
Interim Manager of Safety & Systems Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety, Engineering, Operations Management or related field
- 5+ years of experience in safety and systems management, with a focus on digital transformation and technology integration
- Proven ability in project management, including stakeholder management and driving projects in dynamic environments
- Skilled in change management, influencing stakeholders of varying data literacy levels and advocating for transformative initiatives
- Strong expertise in data design and analysis, including requirement analysis, data visualization and deriving actionable insights.
Proficiency in BI and data visualization tools, preferably Power BI
