Our client is a highly respected law firm known for delivering exceptional legal services to its clients. The firm is currently seeking a skilled and driven Senior Associate Attorney to join their Toxic Tort Practice Group in Southern California.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced attorney to further their career in a collaborative and forward-thinking legal environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Independently manage a caseload of toxic tort and product liability defense matters.
• Handle all aspects of civil litigation, including conducting discovery, drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Prepare and argue motions, take lead on depositions, and work closely with experts.
• Prepare cases for trial and participate in trial proceedings.
• Provide strategic legal counsel and advocacy on behalf of clients.
• Supervise and mentor junior associates on complex litigation matters.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and planning.

Qualifications :

• 8 years of post-Bar experience in civil litigation defense , with experience handling the defense of toxic tort / product liability cases
• Significant experience managing cases and leading the defense of toxic tort matters where plaintiffs allege disease or death due to chemical / toxin exposure.
• Must be Bar licensed in California, in good standing
• Proven ability to lead case teams, manage discovery, and prepare cases for trial (trial experience is a plus)
• Residency in Southern California is preferred (candidates from Northern California / the Bay Area will be considered)
