Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist with 2+ years' of experience in a full-cycle AP position. You should be team oriented, ethical, and possess strong attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will enjoy building strong vendor relations, be able to prioritize objectives and be very dependable.
In your day to day, you will...
Key and upload invoices into Great Plains accounting software
Sort, code and match vendor and supplier invoices
Ensure proper approvals are signed for each invoice prior to payment
Prepare and process checks, electronic ACH payments and credit card payments for all approved invoices
Track expenses and process expense reports and audits timely
Review invoice exceptions and resolve any discrepancies
Maintaining and distributing reports
Maintaining tax-exempt files and ensuring sales tax is accurate
Special projects such as 1099s, accruals, reporting and implementations as needed
Other qualifications include :
Accounting software experience such as Great Plains or similar is required
2+ years' in Accounts Payable
Must be trustworthy, detailed and self-motivated
Associates degree is preferred but not required
Must be able to work in-person 4 days per week
