This position reports to the Senior Management Analyst Supervisor in the Field & Provider Relations Section of the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) Bureau of Vendor and Contracted Services.

This is a highly responsible professional position requiring the incumbent to work independently in collaboration with VR headquarters, local field area, and with DVR vendors and providers of goods and services in each assigned area.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :

  • Provider orientation activities, such as :
  • Conducting an initial meeting with new providers, to asses training needs and provide technical assistance; and
  • Facilitating communications between the provider and VR Field Staff, and provider manager, as appropriate.
  • Consultation duties and responsibilities, such as :
  • Working with other units within the bureau to track vendors and providers in their assigned area and assisting with the sharing of that information with area leadership, to include new vendor / provider notification and notification when a vendor / provider has been removed or decertified;
  • Providing ongoing technical assistance and consultation regarding provider services;
  • Capacity building for new providers, including leading and participating in vendor and provider recruitment activities;
  • Consulting with the provider manager on monitoring activities; and
  • Attending Area leadership meetings, as directed by supervisor.
  • Provider support and general administration, such as;
  • Reviewing outstanding NOAs and MPRs on a monthly basis;
  • Working with the Provider managers to resolve issues and complaints;
  • Completing monthly reports and submitting to supervisor, by established deadlines; and
  • Conducting quarterly provider meetings.
  • Communicating regularly with area specific vendors and providers to
  • Ensure updated contact information is maintained
  • Disseminate regular and approved communication
  • Support streamline delivery of services and programmatic contract deliverable review
  • Preparing and conducting training / presentations as assigned; and
  • Performing research, preparing reports, and presenting to management, as appropriate.

The incumbent also performs other related duties, as assigned.
