The NEW Moxy Madison Downtown is hiring a Hotel Cook for the151-room hotel in downtown Madison, WI opening Spring 2024.

Owned and managed by NCG Hospitality, this property will be the very first Moxy hotel in Wisconsin, a unique lifestyle hotel brand featuring a rooftop bar and restaurant located downtown.

Moxy boldly breaks the rules of a conventional hotel stay starting with check-in at the Bar. Communal play spaces and a central bar serves double duty as the front desk, delivering a unique playful experience.

Starting wage for this position is $15.00-$17.00 per hour plus gratuity but final wage will be based on experience

Our talented and dedicated Hotel Cookwill provide our guests with appetizing and delicious food.

• Set up equipment and prepare food based on the business forecast and catering contracts
• Prepare salads, sandwiches, cold and hot food entrees and other prepared foods according to portion and quality standards specified in recipes
• Poses complete knowledge of menu and recipes, including preparation procedures, plating, garnishment, portions size and presentation and special handling instructions
• Ensure attractive presentation of all food and beverage products
• Assist in ordering, receiving, and storing of all food and beverage related product
• Assist the Food & Beverage Manager and banquet staff with catering events
