Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Description

• Perform all equipment and systems diagnostics, corrective repairs, and maintenance associated within the facilities, including : production equipment, building equipment, and utilities.
• Systems include lighting, HVAC, compressed air, hot and cold water systems, electrical, and all similar systems located throughout the facilities.
• Conduct preventative and predictive equipment maintenance to ensure optimum reliability and up-time.
• Maintain the integrity of the facilities and operating equipment to ensure safety requirements are met and a safe, reliable product is delivered to customers.
• Utilize and maintain the preventative maintenance system, following all computer-based and paper processes for work order completion and documentation.
• Lead projects to purchase, remove, install, or make operational equipment needed to meet production needs efficiently.
• Schedule and monitor all work performed by outside contractors to ensure it meets required timelines and industry standards.
