What You’ll Work On
- This role focuses primarily on process of project development and implementations.
- Support the development of capital program scope by working with commercial, research and development, quality, manufacturing, and engineering teams.
- Responsible for developing several scope options to evaluate and choose the best business case for the organization by working with multiple area finance teams.
- Utilize engineering knowledge to support equipment design by properly preparing requests for proposal documentation, updating equipment specifications, and having detailed equipment design conversations with equipment suppliers.
- Ability to manage several projects at the same time with multiple timelines and maintain adherence to internal process timelines.
- Provide electrical, controls system, software, and instrument support to all aspects of the operation.
- Perform small projects and troubleshoot line control issues on shift with the maintenance team.
- Experience in programming PLC Logic, HMI, VFD and Industrial Networks (Allen Bradley).
- Experience in DeltaV process control, Fieldbus and Hart Communicator is a plus.
- Experience in Vision / Inspection Systems such as Keyence, Cognex and Mettler Toledo Checkweigher.
- Maintenance of process control systems within the designated area
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 5+ years of significant engineering and / or operational experience.
- Approximately 2 years' experience in engineering / controls role or internship or advanced education to achieve level of skill.
- Mechanical, chemical, and industrial engineering experience. Process piping and wastewater experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Computer Science, Controls Engineering or Electrical Engineering degrees preferred
- PMP Certification
- Electrical Power Distribution
