We work with wholesalers to create private label bath and body gift products. Our team is continually creating new organic and natural bath and body products and gift sets for both wholesale and retail product lines.

Position Overview

The Buyer & Production Planner is responsible for purchasing all required parts, components and materials in coordination with vendors and contract manufacturers to produce finished goods on time and in full.

This role requires an understanding of consumer product forecasting, procurement, and production scheduling in collaboration with contract manufacturers.

The Buyer & Production Planner works closely with cross-functional internal and external teams to ensure products are produced on time, to quality standards, and in full, driving customer satisfaction.

The Buyer & Production Planner reports to the SJ Creations Sr. Buyer / Production Planner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Owns parts and component purchasing to ensure all arrive at the respective contract manufacturer on time prior to production starting.
• Collaborates with contract manufacturers and internal logistics team to coordinate the movement of parts, component and finished goods through the supply chain as required.
• Responsible for coordinating production schedules with contract manufacturers to ensure all finished goods are able to ship on time and in full to the customer.
• Owns finished goods purchasing to ensure all product is delivered on time and in full to the customer.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining parts, components and finished goods forecast in collaboration with sales and Product Development.
• Supports the end of month inventory process.
• Supports Quality to resolve any production or quality issues.
• Support continuous improvement opportunities where identified.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree; 4+ years of experience forecasting, purchasing and production planning, preferably within consumer products.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
• Comfort in managing multiple projects, working with various cross functional groups.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong sense of ownership, proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
• Curiosity and vigor to learn, grow and challenge the status quo.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills in particular with Excel and PowerPoint.
