As the National Safety, Quality & Productivity Manager you will be a part of the Commercial Team working as a Remote Employee.

You will be responsible for Driving Market Share Gains for DEWALT through increased awareness and inculcation of the DEWALT Safety message that positively impacts Quality & Productivity leading to Profitability gains.

To work in conjunction with the National Trade Association Management (NATM) team to support the Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy with a heavy focus on the articulation of our Safety message that drives Quality and Productivity throughout the End Users we serve and aim to maintain and convert.

You will also get to :

  • Constructs, implements, manages, and maintains comprehensive DEWALT Safety Message for the Commercial Team to utilize as a tool to gain market share.
  • Work with our EHS team to better understand scope of industry.
  • Work with our Legal team to better understand scope of messaging.
  • Work with our Product Development team to understand inherent benefits of our Safety-focused product offering.
  • We will expect you to set up a regular market visits where you drive our safety message with the End User and the DEWALT Commercial Team.

Attend, Participate, Lead National Safety Conferences Gain access to NATM related Safety-focused Organizations / Boards Build network of Safety Professionals and use them to tell our Safety story.

  • Host regular meetings / events with Safety Professionals to Articulate our Safety Message.
  • Become and maintain certification : Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
  • Provide training for workers on the safe use of construction tools and equipment and training for Journey workers, Trainers, and Apprentices Build and upfit the Training Centers with Safety Focused Collateral Provide Product-specific training.
  • Provide custom Collateral and Marketing messaging around DEWALT Safety Messages.
  • Ensure DEWALT Safety / Quality / Productivity message is comprehended.
  • Identify any defective tools and / or equipment and provide solutions.
  • Demonstrate understanding of 6sigma 5S and share with appropriate parties

The Person :

  • Must have a college degree and at least 5+ years of professional safety work experience.
  • Must be willing to travel 70% of the month.
  • Hold / Possess multiple Safety Certifications.
  • Proven and educated Construction Safety Specialist within the industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of jobsite and craftworker safety.
  • Possess the ability to convey complex sets of information.
