Responsibilities :
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in your subject area, ensuring that learning objectives are met, and students are challenged to achieve their best.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and use data to inform instructional decisions, supporting students in achieving their academic goals.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn, managing classroom behaviour effectively and enforcing school policies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum initiatives, share best practices, and support the overall goals of the school community.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and participate in school events and activities to foster positive relationships with the wider community.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for your area of specialisation, with the ability to teach across different key stages and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Prior experience teaching in a secondary school setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
