Title : Transportation Project Manager
Location : Richmond, VA (additional locations available)
Salary : $130,000-$145,000 DOE
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing transportation projects and leading a design team at a full-service engineering firm.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in transportation engineering and project management.
Key Responsibilities :
Coordinate with clients and manage project communications
Lead and manage a design team, ensuring effective collaboration with other design disciplines
Perform Quality Control reviews to ensure high standards of work
Prepare project scope and fee proposals
Adhere to project budgets and schedules
Assist with responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and presentations
Prepare construction plans for roadways, sidewalks, storm drainage systems, etc.
- Manage various design and support tasks, including roadway, trail, and sidewalk design; storm drainage design; stormwater management;
- erosion and sediment control plans; transportation management plans; signing and pavement marking plans; traffic signal plans;
quantity and cost estimating; utility adjustment plans and coordination
Minimum Qualifications :
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
Minimum of 10 years of experience in transportation engineering
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and lead a design team
Proficiency with relevant design software (e.g., MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer)
Strong written and oral communication skills
