We are actively seeking dedicated and skilled Mitigation Technicians to join our team. This role is critical in helping homeowners and businesses recover from storm, water, mold, fire, and smoke damage by delivering essential mitigation and restoration services.

Key Responsibilities :
- Emergency Services : Work closely in a team environment to perform emergency services and restoration work for water, mold, fire, and smoke damage, strictly following company policies and procedures.
- Adherence to Safety Standards : Follow EPA, OSHA, and local safety regulations for handling hazardous materials and using protective equipment.
- Water, Mold, Fire, and Smoke Restoration : Perform essential restoration tasks on both residential and commercial properties to restore and stabilize damaged structures.
- Inventory and Setup Assistance : Assist with inventory management of site contents, emergency equipment setup, preparing contents for storage, and moving items as needed.
- Equipment Operation and Maintenance : Operate standard tools and equipment routinely used in mitigation work, performing regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Warehouse and Site Maintenance : Maintain warehouse organization, stock supplies, and help with building maintenance tasks.
- High-Elevation Work : Conduct tasks safely from ladders and scaffolding, as needed.
- Hazardous Waste Operations : Safely handle hazardous materials, using personal protective equipment as required.
- Documentation and Reporting : Complete all documentation, including tick sheets, notes, sketches, photos, and files within 24 hours.
Upload all necessary documents to support the estimating team in completing their work.
- Client Relations and Sales Coordination : Establish and maintain positive client relationships to encourage future sales, coordinating efforts with team members and other departments.
- Estimating and CRM Management : Learn and develop skills in Xactimate for writing estimates. Maintain accurate entries in the CRM, ensuring all project details are updated before submission to office personnel.
- Reporting and Team Meetings : Provide management with updates on customer needs, concerns, project progress, and new service opportunities.
Attend weekly team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and strategy with the GM and team members.
Miscellaneous Tasks : Perform additional duties assigned by management, such as picking up / dropping off checks, documents, materials, and other tasks to ensure efficient company flow.
Requirements :
- IICRC Certification in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) is required.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record , and reliable transportation.
- Must be physically fit and capable of lifting materials weighing at least 50 lbs.
- Team-oriented with strong communication and client service skills.
- Ability to work at high elevations and handle hazardous materials in compliance with safety protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and efficiently.
