Full-Time Pharmacist (Direct Hire) - Indiana
RPH on the go isseeking a full-time Pharmacist for a 30-hour / week position at a 25-bed critical access hospital in Indiana.
This is a direct hire opportunity with a focus on providing quality patient care in a hospital setting. New graduates are encouraged to apply, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to start their pharmacy career in a supportive environment.
Duties :
- Accurately fill medication orders and verify technician-prepared products before release.
- Maintain pharmacy security and controlled substances.
- Enter orders and patient information into the system with accuracy.
- Assist in training new staff members and updating the Director on daily pharmacy activities.
- Support the Director in maintaining the pharmacys operations.
- Cover outpatient pharmacy as needed. Equipment Utilized :
- EMR : CPSI
- EMR : CPSI
- Automated Dispensing Cabinet : Omnicell
Schedule / Shift :
- Full-time, 30 hours per week.
- Weekend rotation required.
- On-call duties will be assigned after full training.
Requirements :
- Education : Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy.
- License : Current Pharmacist license in good standing in the state of Indiana.
- No prior experience necessary; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Ability to work independently, make critical decisions, and prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency in using computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
