Independent Living Skills Trainer
$2,500 SIGN ON BONUS ( As per Policy)
Job Description : Independent Living Skills Trainer (ILST) position within an organization serving adults with traumatic brain injury and other physical and / or neurological impairments.
Independent Living Skills and Training (ILST) services include assessment, training, and supervision of, or assistance to, an individual with issues related to activities of daily living and / or other instrumental daily living skills such as meal preparation, budgeting, and medication management.
Experience : Dependent on current Department of Health Qualifications as well as experience completing assessments of ADL / IADL’s, developing a comprehensive service plan, and teaching individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury, disabilities and / or seniors to become more functionally independent.
Education : Dependent on current Department of Health Qualifications
Minimum requirement is an Associates Degree with 5 years experience
