Job Summary
Our client, a health related non-profit, is looking for a Program Officer to join their team! This is a temporary-to-permanent position that pays $23 / hr-$26 / hr while temporary and has potential to convert between $50k-$60k DOE.
About the Job :
- Manage calendars / scheduling; track project timelines and assist with event planning / coordination.
- Support event and meeting logistics
- Assist with both legislative and academic research.
- Monitor for relevant news and resources for the newsletter.
- Provide additional programmatic / administrative support as needed.
About You :
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience within the public health non-profit realm is ideal.
- A bachelor's degree is required, a master's degree is prefered.
- Proficient in MS Office Products (especially Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent oral / written communication, time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
About the Position :
- $23 / hr-$26 / hr while temporary.
- $50k-$60k when permanent.
- Hybrid on-site 2-3 days / week in Washington, DC.
