Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Answering phone calls and responding to email inquiries for product support.
- Providing budgetary proposals, literature cut sheets, manufacturer drawings and specifications for bidding purposes.
- Searching and review of advertised design and bid projects on a weekly basis.
- Preparation of bid scope letters and pricing spreadsheet prior to bid date.
- Acknowledging order receipt to customers.
- Entering the customers’ order in our ERP system.
- Executing buyout requirements to fulfill customer orders.
- Monitoring order purchasing related to customer order activity.
- Communicate with customers and staff regarding order progress and shipping expectations.
- Coordinating shipment and order fulfillment with company shipping and receiving staff.
- Other duties as assigned per management.
Qualifications :
- A minimum of Associates degree in a technical field is required, a Bachelor’s is preferred.
- 3 years’ experience in Inside Sales and customer support.
- Ability to perform start-ups on drives and soft starts.
- Must be proficient with all Windows software programs and can learn Sage ERP system.
- A background in VFD’s, SSS and Motor Controls.
- Strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, as well as great interpersonal skills.
