JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting with the oversight of the company’s general ledger and accounting operations including a focus on managing tax compliance and sales tax filings.

Individual will assume ownership of assigned duties and task within the accounting team, displaying initiative, analysis, and problem-solving skills;

improving and maintaining the value of financial data and working with the accounting team to ensure the accuracy of monthly and annual financial information.

Responsibilities :

• File taxes in various states, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Handle sales and use, keeping track of all transactions.
• Oversee tax compliance projects, coordinating with various departments for efficient execution.
• Maintains integrity of general ledger and performs monthly reviews and reconciliations on assigned ledger accounts.
• Records monthly accounting entries related to accruals and deferrals.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with other staff and management team.
• Help management team with ad-hoc reporting and financial analysis.
• Uphold confidentiality regarding client and company financial information.
• Build and maintain positive customer focused relationships with the operations team.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Highly proficient in excel
