About therole :

Every day, the donors you meetwill motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will becomelife-changing medicines.

Here, a commitment to customer service andquality is expected. You will report to the Plasma Center Managerand will perform as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomyto support plasma center operations.

How you will contribute :

You will answer phones, and greet and focus on our donors, whileensuring the safety of donors and our team.

You will screen new and repeat donors and take and record donorvital signs and finger stick results.

You willuse our Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintainaccurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.

You will help identify operationalopportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes tocenter processes using company approved procedures.

You will be there for our donors, whichincludes working a variety of shifts, Saturdays and Sundays, andholidays.

What you bring to Takeda :

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to walk and / or stand for the entirework shift

Will work evenings, weekends, andholidays

Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch,and reach above shoulders and below knees

Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials upto 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.

Fine motorcoordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment froma distance

Because of potential exposure tobloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks requireprolonged glove wear

1 or more years minimumexperience working in a customer or patient facing role is helpful

U.S. Starting Hourly Wage :

$17.00

The starting hourlywage reflects the actual starting rate for this position. Theactual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state orlocal minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based e mployees may be eligible forshort-term incentives.U.S. based employees may be eligible toparticipate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan andcompany match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basiclife insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteertime off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.

U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendaryear, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible toaccrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
