Position Summary
The Human Resources Manager will act as a business partner and be responsible for aligning our HR strategies with business objectives, fostering a high-performing culture, and supporting our workforce.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals
- Serve as a trusted advisor on HR-related matters, providing guidance on talent management, workforce planning, organizational development, and change management
- Lead, mentor, and coach HR team members
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent, ensuring a strong pipeline for critical roles
- Oversee onboarding and training programs to enhance employee engagement and retention
- Foster a positive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns
- Coach and advise managers on performance management to elevate people outcomes
- Provide coaching and support to managers on performance-related issues and talent development to build effective teams
- Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Support leadership development initiatives and succession planning efforts.
- Implement diversity, equity and inclusion programs through genuine interactions and conversations
- Partner with Cretex on HR initiatives and strategies by participating in project charters and implementing change in the business
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and communicate change to all employees
- Manage the workers compensation and return to work programs
- Utilize HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and inform decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of HR experience, with a focus on strategic HR management and employee relations, preferably in a manufacturing or healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with HR metrics and reporting.
- Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment.
- HR certification (., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
