The Office Manager is responsible for assuring the smooth operation of daily office activities. This position will manage the day-to-day fiscal and administrative duties for the HCO Project.
The Office Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating office activities. This position is directly responsible for employee payroll, benefits administration, accounts payable and purchasing.
The Office Manager oversees the Administrative Assistants and monitors their performance. This position is based in the Boston-area office and reports to the Operations Director.
SPECIFICATIONS : Knowledge ? Bachelor?s Degree in related field preferred; Associate?s Degree accepted with prior office management experience.
A thorough knowledge of office procedures pertaining to duties and responsibilities of the job description is required. An understanding of Massachusetts Medicaid, EOHHS policies and managed care is preferred.
Skills / Abilities - Must possess excellent communication (verbal and written), organization and advanced PC skills (i.e.
Microsoft Office; Word and Excel). Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism. Must have the ability to work well under pressure and relate to a broad range of employees.
Must possess the ability to cope with conflicting points of view and to handle the unexpected. Experience - Must possess at least three to five years of experience running a large business office.
Minimum two to four years of supervisory experience supervising employees. Exertional Level- Light work - some sitting, standing, walking, lifting, reaching, squatting, and kneeling is required occasionally.
