Sr Manager, Supply Chain

Scope)

Coordinate and develop optimized global supply plans (4-24 months horizon) that ensure customer requirements are met through monthly supply-demand balancing leadership.

This will improve service, agility, and revenue.

Conduct rough-cut capacity planning across all value streams based on demand, utilization rates, productivity assumptions, and strategic programs or initiatives.

Identify and address network-wide capacity constraints in collaboration with Operations.

  • Analyze the supply network to make end-to-end (E2E), trade-off decisions.
  • Align manufacturing, distribution & logistics, and suppliers by creating a supply network plan that provides clarity and alignment across supply-related functions.
  • Support decision-making by defining and analyzing multiple feasible scenarios of supply, including medium-term capacity constraints.
  • Assess and evaluate financial impacts associated with risks and opportunities.
  • Manage supply models and oversee scorecards for the Global Supply Chain network.
  • Optimize inventory end-to-end and cost, reducing write-offs.
  • Lead Global S&OE and SIOP global network supply reviews, coordinating Pre and Executive SIOP meetings with cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate global capacity planning for a 3-5-year range, providing input into longer-term capacity investments and sourcing decisions.
  • Manage Global inventory management and inventory health strategy for LPE, minimizing risk of E&O while balancing inventory turns and product availability goals.
  • Support supply chain optimization and customer experience improvement projects.
  • Provide input and recommendations to improve supply chain strategies, policies, and practices.

Leadership

As the Senior Manager, you will lead a team of network planners, providing feedback and supporting their professional development plans.

You will also collaborate and align strategies, recommendations, and decisions with global cross-functional teams including Commercial, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Manufacturing Operations, Global Sourcing / Procurement, Product Managers, Supply Planners, S&OP leaders and practitioners, Executive Leaders, and Finance.

Impact / Success Measures

  • Ensure FG product availability and service through measures such as LIFR, On time in full, and On time to promise.
  • Optimize working capital by managing actual stock levels, overall inventory value, cycle stock, forward days cover, and inventory turns.
  • Drive supply chain optimization and capacity utilization, including rough-cut capacity planning, air freight cost, and write-offs.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business Management, or equivalent experience, with 7 years of supply chain planning experience, ideally within the Life Sciences industry.
  • Equivalent experience to an advanced degree, such as a Master of Business Administration (MBA), is preferred.
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of related ERP / Advanced planning systems experience (, SAP / Kinaxis Rapid Response), including scenarios / what-if-analysis and relevant planning parameters.
  • Deep knowledge of supply planning processes, new product introduction, and SIOP process.
  • Proficiency in transforming data into comprehensive analysis to support decision making and promote collaboration among different teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a matrix and cross-functional team environment, building relationships across multiple functions.
  • Motivated individual capable of working autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
