We are seeking an experienced and creative Content Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic and growing marketing team. We are looking for a writer who understands web writing, advertising, email, SEO best practices, and brand-centered storytelling.

They will craft various content types including website copy, blog posts, social posts, and product descriptions that address our target audiences and promote our brand.

They will research industry topics and trends, optimize content for organic search, revise and edit pieces, and collaborate with other writers and marketers to ensure brand consistency.

Ideal candidates will be creative, strategic, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines. Your role will be to support efforts in increasing brand awareness, drive website traffic, generate leads, and support our overall marketing objectives through compelling and valuable content.

This is a remote position.

The ideal candidate has worked 3-5 years in content creation, has diverse writing skills, is highly collaborative, and is adept at delivering clarity in a complex technology environment.

This position reports directly to the Marketing Director, Brand.

Responsibilities :

  • Content Creation and Management :
  • Partner with Brand Director to develop and execute content marketing strategies to drive traffic, engagement, and leads.
  • Produce high-quality, engaging content for various channels, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, social posts, email newsletters, and ad copy.
  • Collaborate with internal and external SMEs to help produce thought leadership pieces that help establish Seerist’s expertise and brand awareness.
  • Understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies to help craft relevant and engaging content.
  • Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of content across all platforms.
  • Help align content strategies with the company’s broader goals and objectives to contribute to revenue growth.
  • SEO and Content Optimization :
  • Understand basic SEO practices.
  • Conduct keyword research and integrate target keywords into SEO-specific content.
  • Analytics and Reporting
  • Monitor content KPIs using tools like Google Analytics, Hubspot, and social channels.
  • Analyze content performance and provide regular updates.
  • Use data insights to continuously improve content strategy and tactics.

Required Qualifications :

  • Industry Experience
  • The ideal candidate has knowledge and understanding of both B2B and SaaS-based technology solutions.
  • Expertise in Sales Processes and Strategies :
  • Background in content creation, with a deep understanding of the marketing funnel and creating content for each part of the funnel.
  • Experience in generating and executing blogs, articles, website copy, ad copy, video scripts, press releases, and emails that align with the company's growth stage and market dynamics.
  • Content Creation and Management :
  • Skilled in creating and curating content, such as blogs, website copy, case studies, press releases, and collateral.

Desired Qualifications :

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Degree preferred or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong Understanding of SEO principles and best practices
