Summary

Trevelino / Keller, a digital PR, and marketing firm seeks a Web Developer / Designer with a demonstrated portfolio and 3-6+ years of web and graphic design experience.

This position will primarily involve building / maintaining websites (typically within the WordPress CMS), however, a good understanding of traditional design skills is also needed.

The ideal resource will be able to demonstrate a portfolio of experience in web design and brand identity. Experience with Adobe CC is required.

Qualifications and Skills

• 3-6+ years of professional experience, ideally some agency.
• Strong visual design skills, including a deep understanding of typography, composition, and use of color.
• Basic understanding of user-experience design and basic SEO practices.
• Experience creating sitemaps, wireframes, task flows and navigation flows.
• Extensive experience building and maintaining sites in WordPress (particularly within the Divi theme), with a focus on both desktop and mobile experiences.

Knowledge of other WordPress builders such as Elementor and WPBakery is helpful.

• Experience setting up web hosting and migrating / taking websites live (especially with hosting platforms such as WP Engine).
• Knowledge and experience with best practices for ADA compliance and web accessibility.
• Experience working with web-based technologies and concepts such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jquery, and PHP.
• Knowledge of Marketing Platforms such as Hubspot, Mailchimp, and Salesforce / MarketingCloud.
• Experience with Figma (including prototyping).
• Proficiency in Adobe CC programs (especially Photoshop and Illustrator, with InDesign and Premiere being helpful).
• Experience with Webflow, Drupal, and other content management systems is a plus.
• Ability to manage large volumes of work with tight deadlines while managing your own time ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
• Outstanding creativity, enthusiasm, sense of humor, and team spirit.

The Web Developer / Designer supports not only the Creative Studios team but also client teams. Developers / designers should communicate effectively and professionally with clients and team members in a timely manner, and have the skills to manage their workload and deadlines.

The Web Developer / Designer must also have a professional presence in front of the client.
